When Christmas arrives in Orlando, there is no lack of events, attractions and shows that make Orlando one of the most joyous places to celebrate the season. There are a myriad of light displays and holiday concerts, not to mention all the activities and holiday themed attractions at the theme parks, it is impossible to do and see them all. This year the City of Orlando and Leu Gardens is holding the inaugural season of Dazzling Nights – a three-quarter mile journey through a forest of awe-inspiring dazzling light experiences.
Join me as you get a first-look at what WILL become an annual Orlando holiday tradition.
Immerse yourself in the wonder of the holidays here in Orlando! Dazzling Nights at Leu Gardens is the inaugural collaboration between The City of Orlando, Leu Gardens and the team who brings you the IMMERSE Festival to Downtown Orlando.
When you arrive at Dazzling Nights at Leu Gardens, you’ll be greeted with a 30’ tall towering Christmas tree and live entertainment with the acapella sounds of the Misteltones – the perfect backdrop to start your journey.
While you bask in the sounds of the season, you will discover several Instagram-ready areas to share the joy of the holidays.
Farther up the path is the Peaceful Passage – a forest of lazers, which leads you to a 65 foot tunnel of light.
As you make your way deeper into the park, you will find yourself crossing lighted pads, brightly colored steppingstones which change hue ringing in the cheer of the holiday season.
By far the most magical place to be in Orlando this year, must be the Electric Shower Forest which rains down one-hundred thousand spectacular colors of sparkling lights to guide your way through this glowing yuletide forest.
As you reach the midway point of your journey through Dazzling Nights at Leu Gardens, you reach the majestic Glowing Forest – a long promenade of Camphor Trees glowing in beautiful white light!
Not too far away, you will discover an original work of art from artist, Synthestruct, an amazing sculpture of light that illuminates with your heartbeat.
If you ever wondered what it would be like to travel through the Aroura Borealis, you will love the experience of traveling through the path of Auroras and Angels, magical clouds of colored light.
Before your magical journey through Dazzling Nights at Leu Gardens ends, you must stop and take in, Visions of Light and Love – an area of massive 10 foot reflective ornaments that provide the perfect background for holiday photos.
