Yacht Rock Revue Orlando 2027: Primetime Concert at Steinmetz Hall, Dr. Phillips Center — Tickets, Setlist & Event Guide

Yacht Rock Revue docks in downtown Orlando on Tuesday, January 26, 2027, bringing its Primetime tour to Steinmetz Hall at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The 7 p.m. show is a high-energy tribute to the smooth, sun-soaked hits of the late 1970s and early 1980s — the kind of night where “Africa,” “Ride Like the Wind,” and “Heart to Heart” turn a concert hall into a floating party.

Rolling Stone has called the Atlanta band the “world’s premier soft-rock party band.” Fans call themselves Anchorheads. This Orlando date is part of the group’s most ambitious production yet: a nostalgic, TV-studio-inspired show that still keeps the club-band intimacy that launched the act in a Georgia basement in 2007.

Why this show is different

Primetime is not just another cover-band set. Yacht Rock Revue built the production around the golden age of television and its own origins as a DIY club act. Expect studio lighting, an applause-sign energy, and a stage that feels like a live 1970s sitcom taping — then the band drops the hits with serious musicianship. Shows on this tour typically run about two hours and 18 minutes.

The group formed in Atlanta in 2007 after members of the indie band Y-O-U played an ironic night of soft-rock covers that immediately packed the room. They have since shared stages with Kenny Loggins, John Oates, Robbie Dupree, Elliot Lurie, Matthew Wilder, and the late Eddie Money, opened for Train and REO Speedwagon, and released original albums including Hot Dads in Tight Jeans and Escape Artist. The live show remains the main event: lush harmonies, sax and flute, dual drums, and a catalog deep enough that no two nights feel identical.

Songs you’re likely to hear

Yacht Rock Revue does not publish a fixed setlist, but Primetime shows consistently draw from the same golden-era well. Recent tour averages and reported setlists include:

  • Love Boat Theme
  • Heart to Heart (Kenny Loggins)
  • Take a Chance on Me / Love Will Keep Us Together
  • Kiss on My List (Hall & Oates)
  • My Old School and Black Cow (Steely Dan)
  • Steal Away (Robbie Dupree)
  • Somebody’s Baby (Jackson Browne)
  • I Keep Forgettin’ (Michael McDonald)
  • Brandy (You’re a Fine Girl)
  • Africa and Rosanna (Toto)
  • Everywhere (Fleetwood Mac)
  • Ride Like the Wind (Christopher Cross)
  • Sister Golden Hair (America)
  • Cool Change (Little River Band)
  • Escape (The Piña Colada Song)
  • Baker Street, Lido Shuffle, Never Too Much, and Afternoon Delight

Encore favorites often include “Baker Street” and “Never Too Much.” The band has more than 500 songs in rotation, so local nights can surprise.

Steinmetz Hall: the right room for yacht rock

Steinmetz Hall is one of the few true multiform theaters in the world. It can shift between a 1,650-seat orchestra hall with 360-degree seating and a 1,500-seat proscenium configuration, and it was designed for an N1 acoustic rating. Architectural Digest named it one of the 11 most beautiful theaters in the world. For a harmony-heavy, sax-and-Fender-Rhodes band, that combination of intimacy and clarity matters.

The hall sits at the heart of the Dr. Phillips Center campus in downtown Orlando, steps from restaurants, hotels, and the Seneff Arts Plaza.

Tickets and membership perks

The official source is the Dr. Phillips Center event page. Digital tickets are used; the venue posts a short tutorial on how to access them. Annual Luminary members receive early access. If the public on-sale has not started, use the waitlist and wishlist tools on the same page.

Do not wait for secondary-market listings if you want face-value seats in a 1,500–1,700-capacity room. Similar Yacht Rock Revue theater dates elsewhere have sold from the low $30s into three figures depending on section and demand; Orlando pricing will be set by the venue when tickets go live.

Parking, arrival, and accessibility

Pre-pay parking when you buy tickets. City Commons Parking Garage (460 Boone Ave.) is the default partner garage: typically $13 prepaid, higher day-of, with a covered skybridge into the campus. Valet on Magnolia Avenue is available two hours before most Steinmetz Hall shows (standard, premium, and accessible rates). Rideshare drop-off is at 155 E. Anderson St.

Steinmetz Hall offers wheelchair and companion seating, removable seats, bariatric seating, elevators, assistive listening devices, and accessible restrooms. The center is a Certified Autism Center. Contact the Darden Box Office at 407.358.6603 or [email protected] for specific needs. Arrive at least 30 minutes early; late seating is limited.

How this fits the Florida run

The Orlando date sits between other 2027 Florida stops on the Primetime itinerary, including Fort Lauderdale (Jan. 21) and Melbourne (Jan. 27). Yacht Rock Revue last played the Orlando area at House of Blues in March 2026. Steinmetz Hall is a step up in room and production.

Plan the night

Wear the captain’s hat if you have one. The crowd usually does. Eat nearby on Magnolia or Orange Avenue before the show, or stay after for downtown Orlando. Check the venue page the week of the concert for bag policy, door times, and any last-minute notes. Dates, times, and artists can change without notice.

Yacht Rock Revue turned a basement joke into a national touring institution by playing the songs people secretly love at full volume. On January 26, 2027, that voyage comes to one of Orlando’s best-sounding rooms. Get on the list early.
