What Is Sister Amnesia’s Country Western Nunsense Jamboree?

Sister Amnesia’s Country Western Nunsense Jamboree (also known as *Nunsense Jamboree*) is the third installment in Dan Goggin’s beloved Nunsense series. After Sister Mary Amnesia regains her memory in earlier shows and discovers she was once Sister Mary Paul, a talented country singer, Reverend Mother decides her God-given talent shouldn’t go to waste. She lands Sister Mary Paul a recording contract, and the sisters hit the road on a national promotional tour for her debut album, I Could’ve Gone to Nashville.

The show takes place in real time during one of the tour stops. Expect outrageous one-liners, infectious comic songs, and new characters including Sister Mary Wilhelm (the convent nurse) and Father Virgil Manly Trott (Sister Mary Leo’s brother and a country radio show host). The nuns bring their signature humor to a hoedown-style production filled with tributes to classic country legends like Patsy Cline.

Audiences become part of the fun with an interactive “Country Auction” and sing-alongs, making every performance feel fresh and lively. It’s pure, wholesome entertainment that appeals to Nunsense fans and newcomers alike.
