Sunburst Convention of Celebrity Impersonators Returns to Orlando Sept. 25–27, 2026 at ICON Park

Orlando is about to look a lot more famous.

The Sunburst Convention of Celebrity Impersonators is back September 25–27, 2026, bringing tribute artists, look-alikes, entertainment buyers and fans to International Drive for three days of workshops, showcases, networking and a red-carpet gala.

Billed as “the greatest gathering of celebrity impersonators on Earth,” Sunburst has been a fixture of Orlando’s entertainment scene for years. This year’s host hotel is the Embassy Suites at ICON Park — right across from The Wheel, Madame Tussauds, SEA LIFE and Blake Shelton’s Ole Red.

When and Where

  • Dates: Friday, September 25 – Sunday, September 27, 2026
  • Venue: Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando ICON Park
  • Address: 8250 Jamaican Court, Orlando, FL 32819

That’s the heart of I-Drive: easy parking, walkable attractions and plenty of dining if you want to sneak out between sessions.

A convention hotel rate of $119 per night (includes breakfast, Wi-Fi, parking and evening drink tickets) has been promoted for the event; confirm current availability and the booking code directly with the hotel or through SunburstConvention.com

What Happens at Sunburst

This is part industry conference, part reunion, part live show. Expect music legends, movie stars, TV icons and historical figures walking the same hallways — in character.

Weekend highlights include:

  • Kickoff party Friday night with games, contests and door prizes
  • Welcome meeting and open forum Saturday morning
  • Educational workshops, seminars and industry panels
  • Networking with performers, agents and entertainment buyers
  • Promo tables and professional marketing opportunities
  • Sunburst Cabaret stage performances Saturday and Sunday afternoons
  • Live-streamed red carpet arrivals and photo ops
  • The Sunburst Gala Saturday night — bar, DJ, dancing and selfie stations (public welcome)
  • Awards show Sunday evening recognizing excellence in impersonation
  • Wrap party to close the weekend

Producer Greg Thompson describes it as more than a trade show: “It’s a family reunion for entertainers who share a passion for bringing legendary personalities to life. Whether you’re an established performer or just beginning your journey, Sunburst is where friendships are formed, careers are inspired and unforgettable memories are made.”

Seasoned pros, first-timers who keep hearing “you look just like…” and fans who love tribute artistry are all invited.

If you’re already on I-Drive that weekend for the parks or ICON Park, this is one of the more unusual Orlando events you can actually walk into — a hallway full of “celebrities,” a Saturday-night gala and a very Orlando mix of showbiz and theme-park neighborliness.
