Welcome to Rockville 2027: Dates, Tickets, Camping, and How to Get There From Orlando

Welcome to Rockville is heading back to Daytona International Speedway on May 6–9, 2027, and early-bird passes are already on sale. If you live in Orlando, this is the easiest big rock weekend on the Florida calendar: about an hour up I-4, four days of music, five stages, and 160-plus bands at the venue that now bills itself as the World Center of Rock.

The 2027 lineup has not been announced yet. Single-day tickets and student rates drop when that poster lands. Four-day GA, VIP, camping, parking, and hotel packages are live now.

When and Where Is Welcome to Rockville 2027?

  • Dates: Thursday, May 6 through Sunday, May 9, 2027
  • Venue: Daytona International Speedway
  • Address: 1801 W. International Speedway Blvd., Daytona Beach, FL 32114
  • Format: Outdoor, four-day rock and metal festival
  • Stages: 5
  • Expected lineup size: 160+ bands

Gate times are still TBD. In past years, gates have typically opened between 11 a.m. and noon. A full set-time schedule usually posts about two weeks before the festival in the official app and on social channels.

Campgrounds open Wednesday, May 5. That Wednesday night also hosts the official pre-party on site.

Why This Festival Matters for Orlando Fans

Welcome to Rockville started in Jacksonville in 2011 with about 8,000 fans. After moving to Daytona International Speedway, it became one of the largest rock and metal festivals in North America. The 2025 edition drew about 230,000 people. Danny Wimmer Presents, Daytona International Speedway, and the City of Daytona Beach have the event locked in through 2035.

Past bills have included Ozzy Osbourne, Korn, Tool, Linkin Park, Green Day, Shinedown, Foo Fighters, Slipknot, and Deftones. The 2026 anniversary year featured Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters, Bring Me the Horizon, and My Chemical Romance. 2027 will follow the same template: massive headliners, deep undercards, carnival rides, food village, partner lounges, and a full campground inside the speedway.

For Orlando, the pitch is simple. Fly into MCO or drive. Skip a cross-country festival flight. Sleep in Daytona or camp on site. Be home Monday.

Welcome to Rockville 2027 Ticket Prices

All listed pass prices are all-in, including fees and taxes, plus the DWP Foundation charity fee. Admission, camping, parking, and hotels are sold separately. All sales are final.

Current 4-day prices: 4-Day GA is $420 all-in, with the next price level at $445. A 4-Day GA 4-Pack is $1,640 all-in, with the next price level at $1,740. 4-Day VIP is $845 all-in, with the next price level at $890. Daytona Owners Club is $2,400 all-in.

Coming later: single-day GA and single-day VIP at lineup announcement; discounted student single-day GA with a valid student ID and email required at the gate; and GOVX military, nurse, firefighter, and police discounts on GA in limited quantity.

Early-bird language on the official site still promotes starting at $1 down with no interest. Register your RFID wristband before you arrive. Wristbands typically ship three to four weeks before the event. Upgrades may be available through support or at the box office if inventory remains.

Owners Club includes:

  • Full GA access plus both VIP areas
  • Fast-track entry

Hotel Packages

Official hotel packages run through Jampack and bundle a festival pass with a discounted hotel stay. Re-entry is not allowed for standard GA or VIP once you enter the venue each day, unless you are camping on site or you bought a Hotel + Admission package through Jampack. If you want a hotel base in Daytona and the ability to come and go, that package is the one to compare first.

Camping at Welcome to Rockville 2027

On-site camping is the closest way to do the full weekend. Festival admission is not included with a campsite.

Current starting prices: car + tent camping from $310, RV camping from $510, and glamping from $2,900. Glamping is new for 2027.

Car + tent sites sit in the Orange and Purple lots and include a vehicle pass. Expect community showers, a camp store, pit stops, and no hookups. RV sites include hookup and no-hookup options, one RV per site, and a vehicle pass. Glamping covers pre-set tent and RV sites with bedding, exclusive showers and restrooms, concierge help, golf-cart service, and overnight vehicle passes.

Camping timeline: campgrounds open Wednesday, May 5 at noon, or 9 a.m. with Early Arrival. Campgrounds close Monday, May 10 at noon. Check-in windows are limited, especially Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Key rules: no open campfires, no glass, no pets except service animals, no drones, and generator hours from 8 a.m. to 3 a.m. Small propane grills are allowed. Vehicles are searched on the way in. There is no in-and-out for camping vehicles. An Overnight Camping Vehicle Pass is sold separately in limited quantity for extra parking in Lot 4.

Campers can re-enter the festival during operating hours with the correct wristband. That is the big advantage over a standard day pass.

Parking, Rideshare, and Getting There From Orlando

Reserve parking in advance. Day-of lots exist, but they are limited.

4-Day general parking starts at $181. 4-Day premium parking starts at $247. Single-day parking goes on sale with the lineup.

Premium lots sit closest to the gates. ADA parking is available in general and premium areas with a valid placard plus an advance parking pass. Motorcycle parking uses the same purchased passes. Bicycle parking is self-serve in Lot 1.

Rideshare, taxis, and hotel shuttles drop in Lot 1 off International Speedway Boulevard. Enter through Turn 1.

From Orlando, drive time is typically about one hour via I-4 East to Daytona Beach, traffic depending. Fly into Orlando International Airport (MCO) or Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB). MCO is the more common option for out-of-town friends meeting you in Central Florida. Overnight parking is not allowed outside the campgrounds. Cars left overnight can be towed.

Cash is not used inside the festival, but day-of parking still accepts cash or card.

What to Expect On Site

This is not just a stage-and-lawn show. The speedway infield turns into a full rock campus.

Expect:

  • Five stages, including a large tented Garage Stage
  • Amusement rides and a ferris wheel
  • Food village with everything from pizza and BBQ to poke, paella, ice cream, and coffee
  • The Pit Stop for shade, merch, interviews, and extra sets
  • Partner bars and lounges such as iHeart Radio Dive Bar, Salty Skeeters Tiki Bar, Jack Daniel’s activations, wine garden space, and brand chill zones
  • Kerrang K! Pit daytime sets
  • SiriusXM Octane broadcasts
  • Lockers in GA, VIP, and Owners Club
  • Free water refill stations
  • Soberville, a sober-support space with recovery-style meetings each day
  • Official merch stands

A commemorative festival app is the place for schedules, maps, and last-minute weather or gate updates.

Alcohol is sold to guests 21 and older with a physical government-issued photo ID. Temporary paper or digital IDs are not accepted for drinks.

Know Before You Go

Age: All ages. Every person needs a full-price pass, including kids. The environment is adult: loud volumes, heat, strong language, and mature themes. Bring hearing protection and sun protection for children.

Re-entry: No re-entry unless you are camping or have a Jampack Hotel + Admission package.

Weather: Rain or shine, but the show can pause or evacuate for lightning, severe storms, high wind, hail, or flooding. Florida in May means heat, humidity, and fast-moving storms. Pack sunscreen, a cooling towel, and an empty refillable bottle. Metal and glass bottles are banned.

Bag policy: Leave big bags at home. No large backpacks or duffels. One factory-sealed water bottle up to 20 oz is allowed, or an empty refillable bottle. No chairs, umbrellas, coolers, outside food, professional cameras, selfie sticks, drones, weapons, or pets except service animals.

Wristbands: Register the RFID code on the back of the wristband before you arrive. Registration is required for entry.

Refunds: Passes are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Lineup and set times can change.

How to Plan It From Orlando

  1. Buy the 4-day pass now if you already know you are going all weekend. Prices step up after early-bird tiers.
  2. Decide hotel versus campground immediately. On-site inventory and the closest Daytona hotels move first.
  3. Add parking when you buy, unless you are camping or using Lot 1 rideshare drop-off.
  4. Wait for the lineup before grabbing single-day tickets or building a Thursday-only or Sunday-only plan.
  5. Download the official app when it updates for 2027, register the wristband as soon as it arrives, and watch weather the week of the show.

Welcome to Rockville 2027 is the next full-scale rock weekend within an easy drive of Orlando. Dates are locked, early-bird 4-day passes are live, and the poster is the last major piece still to come. If Daytona in May is on your list, this is the window to lock lodging and a wristband before the next price jump.
